The bi-directional transfer cap is used along with a 2L, 3L or 5L shake flask to connect a liquid inlet tubing with the required device.The liquid transfer is achieved by connection of a peristaltic pump between the shake flask and the device.Upon completion of the transfer, the transfer cap can be replaced with a vent cap for culture.Closed transfer reduces the risks of contamination during liquid transfer.The cap is molded and connected in an integrated manner, reducing the risks of leakage and media residues.A variety of tubing diameters are available and aseptic welding of liquid inlet tubing under normal conditions is supported.High-quality materials and smooth inner wall of the tubing provide an excellent transfer performance.Sterility level (SAL) is maintained at 10-6.Endotoxin-free, and no ingredients of animal origin.

The multi-function liquid transfer cap is designed for aseptic liquid transfer and sampling with 3 L wide-mouth and 5 L high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flasks. It supports direct placement in an incubator after liquid transfer, provides a large air flux, and includes a sampling nozzle and inlet filtration to reduce contamination and minimize liquid retention in tubing.

This CytoSoft product comes with 10 standard T-25 flasks with substrates of a chosen stiffness. CytoSoft products provide a tool to culture cells on PDMS substrates with various rigidity covering a broad physiological range. The rigidity of the substrate to which cells adhere can have a profound effect on cell morphology and gene expression. Each flask has a defined elastic modulus bottom layer. The thickness of the silicone gel is uniform with a ~0.5 mm thick layer of silicone that is fully compatible with mammalian cell cultures. The silicone gels are activated and ready to bind to a purified ECM, such as PureCol type I collagen (#5005) prior to cell addition. The silicone substrates of CytoSoft products are optically clear and have a low auto-florescence. Silicone gels are not susceptible to hydrolysis, do not dry nor swell, are resilient and resistant to tearing or cracking, and their elastic moduli (rigidities) remain nearly unchanged during extended storage periods.
